It seems that in Ukraine only National Bank reacts on crisis. Last week the governments of all Ukrainian states-partners held actions of world financial crisis resistance. Ministers of finance together with Heads of central banks G8 countries last Friday approved plan of crisis counteraction, we are waiting for the same reaction from European Union. Meanwhile the crisis has already reached Ukraine. Only during last week depositors took away 15 billion UAH, the prolongation of this tendency can cause failure of bank system. What does «cheap» Russian gas mean Ukraine is not ready to pay the European price for gas and continues to negotiate. Russia uses a situation and prepares to «sell Ukraine a pup» its own gas as if «at give-away prices» and to sell the expensive Asiatic gas for $500 per thousand cubic meters to Europe. The speaker of Federation Advice Sergey Mironov considers that the next parliamentary crisis in Ukraine makes conditional upon its Constitution. Today on Mandrykovska street in Dnipropetrovsk a memorial in honour of “gas” victims was opened. On October,13th 2008 it will be a year since a whole porch in a living house exploded because of gas leakage. This explosion caused death of 9 children and 14 adults.
