Results of last Presidential election poll - Yanukovych is a champion!
Poll lead by Razumkov Center at the end of July shows following results:
| 1st round: | 2nd round | 2nd round | 2nd round |
| Yanukovych – 22% | Yanukovych – 40% | Yanukovych – 38% | Yacenuk – 32% |
| Tymoshenko – 13% | Tymoshenko – 28% | Yacenuk – 34% | Tymoshenko – 23% |
| Yacenuk – 11% |
Yanukovych improved his rating almost per 5% since the last poll. Yushchenko and Symonenko have stable rating around 4%. Lytvyn enjoys only 3% of voters support. Yacenuk has bigger support in Western Ukraine than Tymoshenko (21% Vs 19%). Tymoshenko still enjoys support in Central Ukraine (18% against 12% of Yanukovych and Yacenuk who have equal support).
At the same time only 23% of Ukrainians firmly decided to whom to give their votes (12% - Yanukovych, 6% - Tymoshenko, 5% - Yacenuk).
Conclusions:
- Yanukovych’s rating is growing and he most likely would win Presidential elections;
- Yacenuk has better chances to bit Yanukovych than Tymoshenko because he is perceived as an alternative to old political leaders; Tymoshenko is not (see Yacenuk Vs Tymoshenko);
- Taking into account ¾ of Ukrainian who can change their mind at the very last moment it is quite difficult to predict result of this Presidential campaign with 100% certainty – election campaign and development of economic situation in Ukraine will really matter.
